The Wild Rabbit, Kingham
Set in one of the prettiest Cotswold villages, The Wild Rabbit’s contemporary dining room is a bustling and light space. In keeping with its surroundings, the open kitchen serves a modern British menu. There are a few nods to classic pub food, but above all the menu is inspired by the best seasonal produce from local farmers. Many of the ingredients are picked daily from their own market garden at Daylesford farm. This is one you won’t want to miss.

The Five Alls, Fikins
Enjoy a drink in the spacious flag stoned bar or outside in their pretty pub garden. The Five Alls promote good beer. They stock local ales such as Brakspears’ Oxford Gold and Bitter and their own Five Alls house ale. They also offer a selection of New and Old World champagnes, 60 wines by the bottle and create their own seasonal house cocktails and mixes. The Chequers, Churchill
Candles and flowers soften the raftered dining room of this village pub, where simple food is delicious and the beer range is outstanding. With an immaculate frontage, the Chequers stands smartly on the village lane. Prepare for a dramatic, airy and open-plan interior of low beams, stone walls, roaring wood-burner and a dart board put to good use. The Bell Inn, Langford
A pub near Burford run by Peter Creed and Tom Noest, here they focus on good simple pub food with a straightforward wine list, spirits and beer selection. There is a cosy bar area with lots of seating to have a quiet drink, a separate restaurant with an open fire and a view of the pizza oven as well as a large beer garden overlooking the open countryside. A favourite with celebrities.
